Tai Chi Qigong is suitable for people of all ages and abilities, whether you need to sit or stand. If you are working within your own limitations and are enjoying it then you can't get Qigong wrong.

Tai Chi has been practised in China for thousands of years. There are many forms of Tai Chi with 5 major traditions of Qigong each having a different focus. My training is based on the medical tradition focusing on health and well-being.

Qigong (Energy Work)


The gentle flow of moves helps relax body and mind while the stances help improve balance, leg and core strength. 

Qigong improves the balance of Qi ( energy ) in the body which will lead to an overall lift in your general health and well-being by reducing stress and tension physically, mentally and emotionally.

I am continually training as it takes "Two and a half lifetimes to master Tai chi "

I have a qualification to deliver a seated session for people who can only stand for short periods of time or cannot stand at all .

My sessions are tailored to my attendees and could be a mix of any of my Tai chi training. 

Due to Covid-19, some sessions are not running face to face at present. For regular attendees a weekly video is available on YOU TUBE. Or one to one sessions on zoom, messenger or whattsapp which are suitable for beginners and more experienced people  These sessions can be seated or standing depending on your ability.



Private sessions 

at Bodyworks Physiotherapy in Knighton.

These sessions can be booked to suit you and your needs. 

Maximum 2 people at present following covid guidelines on indoor exercise This can be booked in for Tuesdays/ wednesdays between 4pm -8pm and saturdays 10am - 1pm


The Qigong session is £45 lasting up to 55 min.

The benefits of a private session are that it will be bespoke and times of booking are more flexible. It can be more beneficial if a person has long term pain or illness or in rehabilitation as it means I can accommodate the session accordingly.



Larger weekly Group session

Thursdays at 7.15pm at the Knoll, Botanic Gardens, Oadby. * currently not running*

Glebe Road, Leicester. LE2 2LD 

A mix of either Chinese Fan Form ,Daily tai chi exercises and Qigong. This session is designed with progression in mind.

Trial session £6 then a block booking for a 6 week period . 

£60 for 6 weeks ( £10 per session ) or £13 pay as you go.

This session requires booking in advance



 Work Place well-being


An adaptable session within your workplace to help promote a sense of well-being with staff. Moves that can be done seated or standing that can help reduce pain especially for people who are desk bound or work in a stressful environment. These moves can be taught to staff to help improve their general health and well-being by reducing stress on the body physically, mentally and emotionally.
