Tai Chi Qigong for health and wellbeing...

"Tai Chi isn't what you do, it's how you do it".

Tai Chi Qigong is suitable for people of all ages and abilities, whether you need to sit or stand. If you are working within your own limitations and are enjoying it then you can't get Qigong wrong.

Tai Chi has been practised in China for thousands of years. There are many forms of Tai Chi with 5 major traditions of Qigong each having a different focus. My training is based on the medical tradition focusing on health and well-being.

Tai Chi (Supreme Ultimate)

Qigong (Energy Work)

The gentle flow of moves helps relax body and mind while the stances help improve balance, leg and core strength. 

Qigong improves the balance of Qi ( energy ) in the body which will lead to an overall lift in your general health and well-being by reducing stress and tension physically, mentally and emotionally.

I am continually training as it takes "Two and a half lifetimes to master Tai chi "

I have a qualification to deliver a seated session for people who can only stand for short periods of time or cannot stand at all .

My sessions are tailored to my attendees and could be a mix of any of my Tai chi training. 

Private sessions 

Within Bodyworks Physiotherapy in Knighton.

These sessions can be booked to suit you and your needs. Either one to one, couples or a group of friends (up to 3 people). These can be booked in the daytime/evening or Saturdays.

The Qigong session is £45 lasting up to 55 min.

The benefits of a private session are that it will be bespoke and times of booking are more flexible. It can be more beneficial if a person has long term pain or illness or in rehabilitation as it means I can accommodate the session accordingly.

Group Sessions (up to 3 people)

Alternate Saturdays at 10 am. ( see dates below )these sessions last about 55 mins and cost £15 (paying a block of 4) or £18 pay as you go. You must still book your place due to space availability.

Larger weekly Group session 

                Wednesdays 11.15am at Hendon Grange Retirement Village.                    420.London Rd. Leicester. LE2 2PY

                  Non residents are welcome to join this session.                           £5 pay as you go.

Seated or standing session. ( no session 16th. October 2019 )

           Thursdays 11am at Stokeswood Allotments in their Pavillion.                  2B Stokes Drive LE3 9BR

£5  pay as you go ( no session 17th October 2019 )

 Coming for the first time, it is advised to check pay as you go sessions are running to avoid a wasted journey.

Thursdays at 7.15pm at Botanic Gardens ( starting 31st October 2019)

A mix of either Chinese Fan Form ,Daily tai chi exercises and Qigong

£10 per session paying for a 6 week block or £13 pay as you go .
